FLOYD CO., Ind. (WISH) — State police say in separate investigations, two men were arrested for allegedly uploading images of child sexual abuse material online. 58-year-old Timothy Newberry of Pekin, Indiana, and 31-year-old Jesse Worley of New Albany were both arrested Wednesday following a search of their homes. The first investigation began after investigators received multiple cybertips from the National Center for Missing Exploited Children between September 2025 and March 2026. Police say the tips were initially reported to NCMEC by an electronic service provider and indicated that an individual was suspected of uploading images depicting child sexual abuse material. Police then searched Newberry’s home, which led to his arrest. Newberry was arrested on 19 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material, each a level five felony. The second investigation began in March 2026 when state police received cybertips from a social media provider reporting the same type of images being uploaded to the platform. Police did not specify what social media platform it was. After searching Worley’s home, he was arrested on one count of possessing child sexual abuse material. Newberry and Worley are currently being held at Floyd County Jail.
