Daytime highs will be mostly in the mid 60s to low 70s along the coast and inla
nd, and low 70s around the bay. Overnight lows will be mostly in the mid to high 40s, with interior areas dropping into the high 30s to low 40s.

Gusty offshore winds have started to move across parts of the Bay Area and Central Coast early Thursday, with stronger gusts expected in higher elevations before calmer and warmer weather arrives later in the week, forecasters say.
The winds began increasing overnight as a dry cold front moved south through Northern California, according to the NWS. Gusts are expected to be strongest through gaps and passes in the Mayacamas and Vaca mountains in Napa County and in the East Bay hills later in the day. Isolated gusts near 50 mph were possible at the highest peaks, while lower elevations are expected to see fewer impacts.
Forecasters say the strongest winds aloft are likely near sunset Thursday across parts of the Bay Area and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Wind speeds are expected to ease overnight, allowing temps to drop with clear skies. Some areas of the Santa Lucia range in southern Monterey County could approach near-freezing temperatures early Friday morning.
Warmer conditions are expected Friday as a high-pressure ridge builds over the region, while forecasters say cooler weather and beneficial rain are likely to return Sunday into early next week.
