NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Newberry County man is accused of sexual assault involving minors. Investigators say Tommy Woods of Silverstreet is charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct. Deputies with the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office say, the investigation began after a vict im came forward to report the assault. As the investigation continued, deputies say a second victim was identified. Woods was taken to the Newberry County Detention Center where he was booked and remains under a $200,000 cash bond.
