Chicago police say a report that a little girl had been found wandering alone on a West Side street Monday was false. Police initially said the girl, believed to be between 2 to 3 years old, was initially reported to have been found around 6:50 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Van Buren Street after a female left her and fled in a black SUV. The girl was identified and police said Tuesday that the report that she had been missing was determined to be unfounded.
