(BCN) -- A San Ramon man was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of coercion and enticement of minors to engage in sexual activity, U.S. Attorney Craig Missakian announced Monday.
Ishaq Ikharo, 28, is accused of using online chat and gaming platforms to communicate with minors between April
2022 and September 2024, prosecutors said.
Ikharo allegedly attempted to entice and coerce nine different children aged 10 to 16 to engage in sexual activity. He was on probation at the time for a 2023 conviction for being in possession of child pornography.
Ikharo was arrested in June 2025 and is next scheduled to appear in court in July, according to prosecutors.

In March, the FBI released a statement seeking more potential victims of Ikharo, who generally went by "Shaq" online. He also possibly identified as a minor male or female and targeted mainly minor males. The FBI released images of his online persona in hopes of finding more alleged victims.
If convicted, Ikharo faces a minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine for each violation, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
