Upon arrival firefighters found fire coming through the roof of part of the building which led to a 2nd alarm being called, says CRFD. Crews were able to get on the roof and access and extinguish the fire in the attic area. Firewalls in the building also helped prevent the fire from spreading further, says fire officials. Four units were left impacted by the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office. Only a few residents were left displaced by the fire as some of the affected units were unoccupied. Categories: Local News, Richland Tags: Columbia-Richland Fire Department ...read more read less
