An investigation is underway after, officials said, a car was found after it crashed just feet from Swann Memorial Fountain in Logan Square in Center City Philadelphia early Tuesday. And, police said, the driver is believed to have fled the scene of a crash. Officials said an investigation is underway after a car crashed through a construction area and into Logan Square at around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, near Swann Memorial Fountain, where it struck a port-a-potty. Investigators said no one was injured in the crash and the driver was believed to have fled the scene on foot. As of about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, investigators were still working at the scene to determine the extent of any damage in Logan Square and the car had been towed from the crash site. The iconic fountain should be familiar to many as it appears prominently in the open credits of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. An investigation into the incident, officials said, is ongoing.
