PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A single‑vehicle crash brought down multiple power lines on Sunday after a car struck a utility pole in Petersburg. On Sunday, April 12, the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded to the 2200 block of S Crater Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Once on scene, officers found a vehicle crash that had hit a utility pole and downed multiple power lines. Drivers in the area are being diverted since the north and south lanes are closed.
