Five people were injured after a CPD squad car was involved in a car crash in West Garfield Park.Two Chicago police officers were responding to a call when a driver failed to yield to their sirens at an intersection in West Garfield Park and caused a crash, Chicago police said.The officers were driv ing in a marked squad car with their lights and sirens on just after midnight in the 3800 block of West Washington Boulevard. A 42-year-old man driving a gray SUV failed to yield to the officers and crashed into the squad car, according to police. Three parked cars also were damaged in the crash.The driver and two male passengers were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with minor injuries.
