SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) -- A major pop culture event is taking over the South Bay over this weekend, bringing thousands of fans, cosplayers, and celebrities together for one big celebration of fandom. Fandomcon Silicon Valley is happening through Sunday, April 11 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The three-day event is described as a multi-genre convention, celebrating everything from anime and comics to gaming, sci-fi and pop culture. Attendees can meet dozens of celebrity guests, take part in cosplay contests, and enjoy live panels, gaming tournaments and interactive experiences. Community is always super fun at places like this.
