Today will be sunny and warm with temperatures around 5-8 degrees above normal for this time of the year. More clouds will move in on Thursday with still a dry and warm afternoon on tap. Friday will stay dry until the overnight hours with rain chances begin to go up as a large storm approaches the w est coast. Southern California will be on the tail end of this storm system, so the heaviest rain will remain to our North. However, showers will still move in on Saturday with a slight chance for a thunderstorm. Most of Saturday’s rain should occur during the first half of the day with a slight thunderstorm chance into the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler. A secondary cold front will swing through on Sunday with more scattered showers and even cooler daytime highs. Rain totals for both days combined look to be 0.5″ or less. So far, we should dry out in time for the next work week. TODAY Coast: sunny – mid to low 70s Inland: sunny – low 80s Mountains: sunny – Low 70s Deserts: sunny – Low to mid-90s ...read more read less
