Two Cape May County men were arrested and charged with stealing a car and having several weapons on hand, according to the North Wildwood Police Department. Officers were originally called after someone reported that their car was stolen on Dec. 28, 2025, and investigators said they were able to identify 42-year-old Brian Henderson as the suspect. The next day, officials reported finding Henderson and the stolen car within the city of Wildwood. A warrant allowed officers to search the stolen car where they said they found a ballistic vest, knife, tactical gun belt and holster, three large-capacity rifle magazines, ammunition, a covert camera and other weapon-related items. As detectives continued to investigate, they reviewed Henderson’s cellphones and identified 47-year-old Calvin Fabio as an accomplice, officials explained. Then, March 27, 2026, the Cape May County SWAT team worked with the North Wildwood Police Department to execute a search warrant at a storage facility in Burleigh, police said. Authorities watched Fabio leave the facility and promptly arrested him, according to officials. When detectives searched the storage unit, they reported finding an AR-15 lower receiver, a Polymer 80% “ghost gun” lower receiver, drill press typically used when making firearms, nearly 5.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and other weapon-related items. Fabio is facing several charges including manufacture, transport and defacement of weapons, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of controlled dangerous substance and other related charges. Henderson was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, prohibited weapons and devices as well as manufacture, transport and defacement of weapons along with other related charges, officials announced.
