On Tuesday at 7:11 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated special weather statement until 9 a.m. for Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schoharie, Schenectady, Albany, Rensselaer and Washington counties."Moderate to locally heavy snow showers are currently ongoing across portions of the East ern Catskills, Capital Region, and Southern Vermont. Latest surface observations indicate that within the heaviest showers, visibilities have been reduced and some elevated roadways, especially across the higher elevations of these areas, have accumulated a light coating of snow.
