One woman is dead and other is in serious condition following a crash in Batavia Saturday evening, according to the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.According to the OSHP, officers responded to reports of a crash in the 1300 block of U.S. 50 at 7:43 p.m.Preliminary investigations revealed that Bridget Meyer, 47, was driving eastbound on U.S. 50 when she traveled off the left side of the roadway before striking a utility pole and a tree.Miami Township EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced the passenger, Kristin Houser, 40, dead.Meyer was transported to UC Medical Center with serious injuries.The crash remains under investigation. ...read more read less
