OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) -- A fire broke out early Saturday morning at the historic Camron-Stanford house on Lake Merritt. The Oakland Fire Department received a call at 12:38 a.m. about the fire. Twenty-five fire fighters responded to the scene. It took nearly an hour for firefighters to get the fl ames under control. By 1:20 a.m., officials reported the fire was under control. There were no injuries, officials said.
