Things the North Shore needs now: a central source for road closure notifications; to keep Farrington Highway next to the Otake Store building open, while doing recovery work; an annual or seasonal clearing of debris near the waterways to check that drainage is intact, or now while people are inclin ed to give access to their land; set emergency response locations for helicopter medevac; either decommission Wahiawa Dam or improve it; and add another planned escape route for tsunami, flood and fire. ...read more read less
