Suspected explosive materials, narcotics, cache of guns found in San Bruno felon’s home

(KRON) -- A convicted felon faces multiple charges after police said they found suspected explosive materials, narcotics and a cache of guns, including an AR-15 rifle-style ghost gun, during a search of his San Bruno home on Tuesday.
Ryan J. Beardsley, 32, was arrested without incident on the 2600
block of Heather Lane by San Bruno police along with officers with San Mateo County Narcotic’s Task Force, Vehicle Theft Task Force, and Gang Intelligence units.
San Bruno police said all evidence has been seized and there is no ongoing threat to the public. It is not clear what led to the search warrant.

"A search of Beardsley’s home found a significant quantity of methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales, and narcotics paraphernalia," said SBPD in a statement to KRON4. "Investigators also located an un-serialized AR-15 “ghost gun,” two rifles, a revolver, several high-capacity magazines, ammunition, ballistic armor, and a stolen ATV...Investigators also located suspected explosive materials and evidence showing intent to manufacture improvised explosive devices. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded to the sceneand safely recovered the materials."
Beardsley was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on several felony charges and remains in custody.
