SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Firefighters battled a blaze in a cargo facility at San Francisco International Airport Friday afternoon. Flights and other airport operations were not impacted by the fire, an SFO spokesperson said. The fire burned cargo pallets, the spokesperson said, and no one was injur ed. Firefighters were still on scene along South McDonnell Road as of 3 p.m. (Photo courtesy San Francisco Fire Department) Fire officials told KRON4, "The San Francisco Fire Department, along with partnering agencies from San Mateo County fire agencies, is currently on the scene of a one-alarm fire involving five conex storage boxes in the cargo area of (SFO), located on the 500 block of North McDonnell Road. The fire is confined to five conex storage containers and some debris. Fortunately, there are no associated injuries.
