(Courtesy of Lancaster County Corrections) LINCOLN–(KFOR Apr. 3)–Not guilty the plea from 58-year-old Kendall Hawthorne for his alle ged role in the crimes that took place at his home near NW 27th and West Alvo Road related to the January 15 shooting deaths of 27-year-old Roberto Tanner, 26-year-old Hannah Neville, both of Stromsburg, and their unborn child. Hawthorne appeared in court this week and is facing two counts of accessory to murder and tampering with evidence. Hawthorne is accused of having 24-year-old Sterling James of Lincoln use his property to destroy evidence. James is accused of shooting and killing Tanner, Neville on January 15. Meanwhile, 47-year-old Ammie Mitchell, who lived on that property, will have her case head to trial. She will be arraigned on April 29 on two counts of accessory to murder and tampering with evidence, by allegedly removing items from Neville’s vehicle. ...read more read less
