Terminal AWest TSA checkpoint reopens Friday at PHL

More security checkpoints at Philadelphia International Airport are reopening after being closed down during the partial government shutdown.
According to PHL, Terminal A-West reopened on Friday, April 3, at 5 a.m.
Terminal F will reopen on Tuesday, April 7 at 4:30 a.m., officials say.
As
the terminals reopen, they will all be operating with regular hours, the airport said.

TSA had been working without pay for over a month due to the government shutdown impacting the Department of Homeland Security, but they began receiving pay again on Monday after President Donald Trump signed an executive order.
The shutdown remains in place and it is unclear when Congress will pass a funding bill, which is being stalled due to disagreements over immigration enforcement tactics.
