INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We are tracking a risk for stronger storms Thursday night.
Thursday night: A couple clusters of showers and storms will move through. We’re still track a threat for strong to severe storms af
ter 6 p.m. until about 1-2 a.m. Friday. All hazards are possible, but damaging winds are the primary threat. Lows will be quite mild, with numbers in the low 60s. Indianapolis’ record warm low of 62 for April 2, from 1928, was in jeopardy.
Friday: Isolated-to-scattered hit-and-miss showers and storms will be possible. Isolated stronger storms are also possible with wind and hail as the main hazards. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Saturday: Additional showers and a few storms are expected as a stronger cold front sweeps through during the afternoon and evening. Isolated stronger storms cannot be ruled out. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. People heading to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Final Four on Saturday may see some showers and isolated storms into the evening and early nighttime hours. Temperatures will fall into the 50s on Saturday night.
7-Day Forecast: Cooler and remaining breezy, with some sunshine for Easter Sunday as highs only get into the upper 40s to low 50s. Temperatures will get back into the 60s by Wednesday.
