Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen has been found dead, officials said. 7Skyforce hovered over a home that police had surrounded on Wednesday afternoon. Bowen was appointed as Vice Mayor in 2025, after initially being elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. Coral Springs Police said that a death investigation is currently ongoing, and have not released details on the circumstances of her death. A press conference is expected on Wednesday evening.
