Washington, DC – The Supreme Court hearing over birthright citizenship has ended. It featured a lot of back-and-forth about the Constitution, and also an appearance by President Trump who was in the gallery. Trump became the first sitting president to attend oral arguments at the Supreme Court, and posted afterwards, “We are the only Country in the World stupid enough to allow “Birthright” Citizenship!” The case was a challenge to Trump’s executive order that ended birthright citizenship for children born to parents in the U.S. illegally or temporarily.
