A 62 year old Fargo, ND, man has died from injuries received in a single vehicle accident March 17, 2021, four miles east of Willow Lake. Preliminary crash information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol indicates that David John Wosick, the driver of a 2019 Volvo semi hauling a concrete beam, was traveling eastbound on SD Highway 28. When the vehicle slowed for a stop sign at the intersection at SD Highway 25, the concrete beam shifted forward into the cab, pinning the driver. Wosick was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died from the injuries March 21. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
