The National Weather Service issued a report at 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday for thunderstorms and gusty showers until 11:30 p.m. for Yates, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland, Tioga and Broome counties."A line of showers and thunderstorms is moving east through Western NY and PA as of 930 pm, with observed gusts of 40 to 50 mph. These gusty showers will continue for several more hours as they move through the rest of the Finger Lakes and the western Twin Tiers of NY and PA.
