Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 30, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repairs on Interstate 64 in Montgomery County. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized from midnight to 6 a.m. Thursday, April 2. Temporary traffic delays are possible during operations. Motorists are advised to watch for signage and personnel in the area. Interstate 64 – Eastbound and Westbound Eastbound Operations will begin at mile point 104 and proceed toward mile point 115 Westbound Operations will begin after eastbound lanes are completed, starting at mile point 115 and proceeding back toward mile point 104 All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
