KY 53 to close between mile points 5.9 and 7.0  LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 30, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 53 (Bruner Road) in Anderson County for cross drain replacement. KY 53 (Bruner Road) will be closed between mile points 5.9 and 7.0 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2, weather permitting. Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area. All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
