At CSS Thrift Store, a little piece of Augusta shows up every spring. For 36 years, Philomena Mooney has helped turn donations into something bigger. Seven years ago, that led to a unique idea: a sale built around donated Masters merchandise. “We always wanted to think outside the box,” s he said. “How can we create an experience for our customers?” It started small, but quickly grew into a can’t-miss event, with shoppers lining up before sunrise to score deals. For many, the Masters is out of reach…but here, everyone gets a shot.
