TONIGHT The evening stays pretty easygoing, just a quiet late March night with clouds gradually increasing as the hours go on. Lows settle into the mid to upper 30s, and a south southeast breeze around 5 mph keeps the air from turning too chilly. There is not much to dodge weather wise, s o late plans and travel should be in good shape, and the bigger story is simply that the milder pattern is already starting to sneak back in.  TOMORROW Sunday brings a nice little reward after the cooler stretch, with a mix of sun and passing clouds and highs climbing into the low to mid 60s. Southwest wind around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph adds a little spring energy to the afternoon. It is the kind of day that feels friendly for walks, errands, and anything outside, and while it is breezier than today, it is a much more comfortable breeze than a harsh one.  TOMORROW NIGHT Clouds thicken again, but the night stays unusually mild with lows only in the low to mid 50s. South wind around 10 mph with a few gusts near 20 mph. If you step outside late, it will feel more like late April than the end of March, and that is a pretty good clue that Monday is about to make a bigger warm push.  MONDAY Monday leans fully into the spring preview, with partly sunny skies and highs charging into the low to mid 70s. South southwest wind around 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph keeps the air moving, but this still looks like one of the better outdoor days of the stretch. It is warm enough to make you forget how recently it was cold, and aside from the breeze, the daytime hours look very workable.  MONDAY NIGHT The warmth barely lets go after sunset. Mostly cloudy skies hold temperatures in the low to mid 60s overnight, with a south southwest wind around 10 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. This is one of those nights where the air feels almost oddly soft for early spring, and it also sets the stage for a more active Tuesday.  TUESDAY Tuesday looks warmer still and a bit more unsettled, with partly sunny skies and highs pushing close to 80. Southwest wind around 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to the mid 30s will be a noticeable part of the day. A few showers may start to pop later in the afternoon, and thunderstorms become more of a concern as the day wears on, so while much of the daytime may still be usable, this is when the pattern starts losing that calm spring feel.  TUESDAY NIGHT This is the wetter and more active stretch of the forecast. Rain becomes likely and thunderstorms are possible, especially during the evening and overnight. Lows fall back into the mid 40s by daybreak, and the wind shifts from southwest to northwest around 10 mph with gusts up to the mid 20s. Heavy downpours are possible at times, and a few stronger storms cannot be ruled out, so Tuesday night is the one window where travel may really slow down.  WEDNESDAY Rain hangs on into at least part of the day, especially early, then cooler air begins to settle back in. Highs reach the low to mid 50s with a north northeast wind around 10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. After the warm surge, Wednesday feels much more grounded again, and the wet roads may linger into the first half of the day before things gradually improve.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT The sky stays mostly cloudy with more scattered rain still possible, and lows slip into the upper 30s. East northeast wind around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. It is not a harsh night, but it does keep the damp, unsettled feel going a little longer than you might want after such a warm start to the week.  7 DAY FORECAST The pattern starts very friendly, with 60s Sunday, 70s Monday, and near 80 Tuesday, then it turns much wetter and more active from Tuesday night into midweek before cooling back down. The standout days for simply enjoying the weather are Sunday and Monday, while Tuesday is the transition day where warmth and wind begin setting the table for storms and heavier rain. By Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures ease back toward more seasonable levels, and the bigger story becomes repeated wet periods instead of the early week warmth.   ...read more read less
