An ex-White House staffer was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a San Francisco State graduate. Police said officers responded to a home on 22nd Avenue on Tuesday night. There, they found 22-year-old Samantha Emge suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital b ut later died. Emge’s LinkedIn profile shows she graduated from San Francisco State with a degree in interior design and was working at a design firm in the city. Former San Jose police Officer Michael Leininger said the case will likely rely on physical evidence. Wood remains in custody on $300,000 bail. His next court date is set for April 1. ...read more read less
