NBC Bay Area learned the woman rescued from a cliff in San Francisco’s Ocean Beach earlier this week was a tourist who was swept away by the current. According to firefighters, on Wednesday, the tourist went for a swim but was swept away by the current. She decided to climb up the rocks and got stuck in that location.
