The Florida Department of State Division of Elections said results for the special election in Senate District 14 do not meet the threshold to trigger a machine recount.The Hillsborough County Canvassing Board certified the firs t unofficial results for the Senate District 14 special election on Friday morning and showed Brian Nathan ahead by only 405 votes.The threshold for a machine recount is one-half of a percent, which would be a difference of 400 votes. Since the difference is over 400, no recount triggered.On April 6, at 10 a.m., the Canvassing Board will certify the official results and conduct a post-election audit to verify them.All election results can be viewed here. ...read more read less
