Canandaigua, N.Y. - The state Commission on Judicial Conduct has recommended the removal of an Ontario County town justice who it says repeatedly used a racial slur and made a racially insensitive remark in court. The commission announced Friday that it had found that Walter W. Jones, a justice of t he Canandaigua Town Court, used the “n-word” multiple times during a conversation with court staff.
