KY 599 to close at mile point 4.9 for cross drain repair  LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 599 in Montgomery County for cross drain repair. KY 599 will be closed at mile point 4.9 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31. Motorists should use Silver Ridge Road and KY 1050 as alternate routes. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area. All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
