(KRON) -- Redwood City police said a juvenile has been arrested following a stabbing incident between an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy on Tuesday afternoon. SF shooting victim identified as 22-year-old SFSU student Police said officers responded to a report of a physical altercation in the 2 100 block of Broadway Street and soon learned the aforementioned males had been involved in a fight. "During the altercation, the juvenile suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene prior to officers’ arrival," police said in a news release. The victim sustained facial injuries, as well as non-life-threatening stab wounds, but declined medical treatment, according to police. Later that day, the suspect was subsequently identified and taken into custody at his Redwood City residence. He has been booked into the San Mateo County Youth Services Center for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. It was not clear from police which juvenile in the incident was arrested.
