If you’re planning to follow the Phillies all season and want a little skin in the game, here are a few futures worth tracking. It’s another season of Phillies baseball after an up-and-down offseason, but there’s still plenty of buzz around the back-to-back NL East champs. The National L eague picture feels familiar at the top. The Dodgers are still a juggernaut . The NL Central looks like a toss-up even if the Cubs appear best on paper. The biggest shift is the East tightening up. Atlanta has already dealt with injuries in the rotation, but its offense is positioned for a better year with Ronald Acuña healthy. The Mets spent big, added Freddy Peralta via trade with Milwaukee and are leaning into a youth infusion with a pair of top prospects. That brings us to a few DraftKings futures. DOUBLE CHANCE: PHILLIES OR DODGERS TO WIN NL (-115) Including the Dodgers in the pairing is what makes this intriguing. You’re essentially buying insurance with the best team in the league while still keeping the Phillies in play. It’s not a guarantee the Phillies win the division or make a deep run, but if you want a Phillies-related NL future without going all-in on one path, this is an interesting way to do it. If you’re looking strictly for value, the Phillies to finish as the No. 2 seed in the NL sits at +400 and is a stronger “payout” play. JESÚS LUZARDO UNDER 3.72 ERA (-110) The Phillies were clearly excited to get Luzardo into this season before he ever took the mound in his contract year. For a couple of extended stretches in 2025, he looked like one of the better starters in the sport, but a tipping issue over two starts pushed his season line up to a 3.92 ERA. If you remove 5 2/3 innings of 20-earned-run ball, his ERA would’ve been 3.03 across 30 starts. You can’t just erase outings, obviously, but it shows why the under is at least a reasonable conversation at this number. If you want to lean into upside instead of protection, Luzardo as a sneaky NL Cy Young candidate is sitting at +2500, and he has 200-strikeout upside again (-105). ALEC BOHM TO HIT 20 HOME RUNS (+130) Contract year. It’s simple as that for the Phillies’ third baseman. Bohm dealt with rib and shoulder injuries last season and has hit 20 homers just once (in 2023). But he also drove in 97 runs in consecutive seasons entering last year, and Philadelphia needs that kind of run production again. If Bohm is trying to position himself for a strong multi-year deal, more thump has to be part of it. You can also look at his over .275 batting average in his walk year as another way to play his profile. BRYCE HARPER TO HIT 35 HOME RUNS (+225) RBIs are tough to bet because lineup construction can shift all season and change opportunities. Sticking with the homers, this total for Harper is a cleaner lane. After he returned to Phillies camp, and following his game-tying homer in the World Baseball Classic championship game, Harper said he wants to walk “140 to 150” times in 2026. That’s a large number, but it fits his track record as a patient hitter. In the five seasons he’s drawn 90+ walks, Harper hit 34+ homers in four of them. If he’s committed to letting pitches come to him in the zone, this number is within reach. PHILLIES TO HAVE MOST WINS IN NL EAST BY END OF APRIL (+250) This one gives you something immediate to follow. From now through the end of April, the Phillies play just one playoff team from last year. It’s still six games (home and away) against the Cubs, but Chicago won’t be at full strength with Seiya Suzuki on the shelf to open the season. The Phillies also get six games combined against the Nationals and Rockies in that span. If you’re looking for an early-season futures sweat at plus money, this is a reasonable one. LONGSHOTS TO CONSIDER Jhoan Duran — MLB saves leader (+1700) Justin Crawford — NL Rookie of the Year (+2000) Rob Thomson — Manager of the Year (+2200) One quick note: futures are volatile by nature. Injuries happen and nothing here is a guarantee. Think of these as angles to monitor, not as locks. ...read more read less
