With Senate Bill 2463, legislation to lower the legal blood alcohol concentration (BAC) threshold for drunken driving from 0.08 to 0.05 is back on the state’s agenda. This bill can save lives in Hawaii, where too many are injured or killed each year by impaired drivers.
