GREENBRAE, Calif. (KRON) -- The pain at the pump is getting worse. Three Bay Area counties are now paying an average of $6 per gallon of gas, according to AAA. The statewide average went up $0.03 from Monday, now sitting at $5.82 a gallon. That’s more than a dollar higher than a month ago.
