A man has died after a person he knows — who was injured in the attack — stabbed him last week, officials said. Mike D. Chapman, 29, died of multiple stab wounds after a woman that he knows "attacked him with a knife," about 9 p.m. on Wednesday in the 9000 block of South Harvard Avenue, accordin g to Chicago police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Chapman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office. The woman suffered a puncture wound to her left hand, and was taken to Roseland Hospital in good condition.
