by Anonymous Many times on my walk home there's the same dude sitting in his car, usually 100% looking at his phone, and some of the time scarfing down food while looking at his phone. It's always mid afternoon. And I just can't help but wonder what the r eason is? I know there's the rumor that people in cars feel safe, or anonymous. Still I wonder? Is he waiting for someone which I don't think so? Is he waiting to go home or his roommate to return home because he's not given a key? Is he waiting for his roommate to leave because he can't stand them? Is he hiding his munching because he doesn't want it to be known he ate something, usually not in their diet and wanting to keep this meal a secret? This does happen. Maybe he lives in his car and again is waiting for someone to return? What gives? Of the the places to hang around and wait, why your car? It's a sunny day, and there is some bizarre dude sitting in his car on a residential street? Wouldn't you want to hang around somewhere more comfortable? But that's what I don't know? Maybe his car is his sanctuary? Nonetheless, people have too much time on their hands when they do shit like this, and seeing this same pattern makes me only think how much time in a day people waste doing unnecessary, uneventful, and uninspiring things.
