Thank you for informing the public that at approximately 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, a “moose walked into the roadway on Marsac, causing the bus to hit the moose.” The moose was killed by the collision with this municipal bus. You also reported that “the police said the investigation i s closed.” This is deeply concerning to me.  We are widening S.R. 224 for more buses to run in new, dedicated bus lanes, and considering doing the same on S.R. 248. We will put more and more wildlife at risk. We need our bus drivers to drive slowly and not be distracted, especially late at night.
