(KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department said Alcoholic and Beverage Abatement Team (ABAT) officers made alarming discoveries after inspecting two smoke shops in the city on Wednesday. No arrests were made. Meth, cartel hats seized in San Jose police car stop At the first business, located in the 380 0 block of San Leandro Street, ABAT officers seized flavored tobacco, untaxed cigarettes, and narcotics paraphernalia ready for sale, according to OPD. "Additionally, officers located a small amount of narcotics and a firearm disguised as a cell phone," OPD said in a news release on Friday. ABAT conducted a tobacco retail check at the second smoke shop, located in the 2100 block of International Boulevard, where officers found flavored tobacco, untaxed cigarettes, and narcotics paraphernalia for sale. Police said both cases have been sent to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office for review. The Oakland City Attorney's Office will work with detectives to follow-up on any civil or legal findings that may come forward from the investigations.
