A person died following an encounter with a police officer in Evesham Township, New Jersey, early Friday morning. On March 20, around 4:40 a.m., an Evesham Township Police officer encountered an unidentified person on State Highway 73 and Greentree Road. Police revealed few details on what hap pened during the encounter but said it resulted in the person suffering “fatal injuries” and the officer receiving “non-life-threatening medical treatment.” Police have not yet released the person’s identity or any additional details on the incident or what led to it. The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General is currently investigating the incident and will provide updates, police said. SkyForce10 was over the scene early Friday morning.
