CHARLOTTE, N.C. – PSA Airlines officially opened its new Charlotte headquarters on Thursday, bringing a serious economic lift with it. More than 450 high-paying jobs are already here, with hundreds more expected statewide. A new study projects a $228 million annual impact, fueling local busines ses and growth across North Carolina. Governor Josh Stein calls the move a no-brainer. Stein says, “This company alone, just their decision to come to Charlotte, is going to add about a quarter of a billion dollars in economic activity. ‘Cause it’s not only the 450 employees that are here, but they have contracts with other companies. These folks then live here, and they go to restaurants, and they go out to movies.
