An Upstate New York man has been accused of a hate crime for an alleged extortion scheme on a dating app.Andrew Kidder, 24, of Campbell, N.Y., was arrested and charged with Attempted Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree as a Hate Crime (D felony), New York State Police announced Wednesday.
