2 Syracuse hikers rescued from ADK High Peaks trail after their electronics fail

Two hikers from Syracuse attempted to tackle Nye Mountain in the Adirondack High Peaks region on March 14. But the pair managed to get only 1.5 miles up the trail from Indian Pass Brook when their digital navigation device died.
