DREW 3/19/26 THURSDAY The day starts on the quiet side, and once the early clouds thin out a bit, it turns into a pretty pleasant March afternoon. Highs reach around 60 with a light south southeast wind around 5 mph. Most of the area stays dry, so this is the kind of day where the weather mostly gets out of the way and lets you enjoy a little spring preview.  THURSDAY NIGHT A mild night by March standards with a mix of clouds and some breaks at times. Lows settle in the mid 40s, and the south wind stays light around 5 to 10 mph. It is a calm setup overall, and there are no real travel concerns beyond a cooler feel once the sun goes down.  FRIDAY This is the first real warm push of the stretch. Expect partial sunshine and a springlike afternoon with highs climbing into the low 70s. South southwest wind around 10 mph adds to that warmer feel without making the day too blustery. If you have outdoor plans, Friday looks easy to work with, and it is one of those afternoons that makes winter feel a little farther away.  FRIDAY NIGHT Still mild and quiet with a partly cloudy sky and lows in the mid 40s. South wind around 5 to 10 mph. It is a very manageable night for travel or late plans, and the air keeps that softer spring feel instead of dropping off sharply after sunset.  SATURDAY Warm air keeps winning with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 70s again. South southwest wind around 10 mph. It is another good looking day, and by this point the weekend really leans into that early spring mood, with comfortable afternoon temperatures and no meaningful weather problems to dodge.  SATURDAY NIGHT A milder night continues with partly cloudy skies and lows in the low to mid 50s. South wind around 10 mph. It stays quiet for evening plans, and the fact that temperatures hold this high overnight is a good clue that the next change is waiting just beyond the weekend.  SUNDAY Still warm, but the day has a different feel because the breeze picks up and clouds increase later on. Highs rise into the mid 70s with a south southwest wind around 15 to 20 mph. A stray shower cannot be ruled out late, but a lot of the day is still dry and usable. The bigger takeaway is that this is likely the last really warm day before things get knocked back down a notch.  SUNDAY NIGHT A front slips through and the weather takes a step back toward normal. A few showers are possible, mainly early, then cooler air settles in by daybreak. Lows drop into the mid 30s to around 40 with a west northwest wind around 10 to 15 mph late. It is not a high impact setup, but you will notice the difference by Monday morning.  7 DAY OUTLOOK The main story is the warm finish to the week and the first half of the weekend, with highs running in the 60s today and then the 70s Friday through Sunday. The pattern does cool off early next week after Sunday night’s front, with highs dropping back into the 40s Monday and Tuesday, but the chill does not look especially long lived. By the middle and latter part of next week, the broader pattern favors temperatures trying to climb again, so this looks more like a quick reset than a true return to a cold stretch.  ...read more read less
