On Tuesday at 12:28 a.m. a lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from noon until Wednesday 8 a.m. for Oneida County.“Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph,” states the weather service . “Lake effect snow will develop this afternoon and persist into the overnight hours.
