Bloombox Festival of independent Indiana artists to celebrate 25th year
Mar 16, 2026
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Harrison Center on Monday announced it will host its 25th annual Bloombox Festival on the last day of spring in Indianapolis.
The free event of the nonprofit arts organization will run from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. June 20 at the center, 1505 N. Delaware St., in the historic
Old Northside neighborhood.
The festival celebrates independent Indiana musicians, visual artists and crafters, said a news release issued Monday. Since its founding in 2002, Bloombox has focused on artists who create original work. Kieron Bishop, who in September 2025 was a Harrison Center intern from Herron High School, will coordinate this year’s effort as part of the Harrison Center’s Cultural Entrepreneur Initiative.
Two stages along Delaware Street will feature continuous live music throughout the day. The curated Bloombox Artisan Market will occupy the Harrison Center grounds and the interior of the building.
Gallery exhibitions inside the center will feature artists Eric Lubrick, Nick Abstract, Joel Atkinson and Hector Del Campo. The Harrison Center houses eight galleries and more than 40 artist studios.
Food trucks and beverages will be available from Sun King and Ash Elm. ArtMix will also host its recurring fundraiser, serving ice cream in handmade ceramic bowls.
Sponsors include the Rockefeller Family Global Office, Stompbox, Foundry Provisions, Compendium, @properties and Renew Dental Arts. InnovateMap, Tensus Tents, Ratio and Revely are providing added support.
