(KRON) -- A suspect was arrested Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of a 28-year-old woman at a San Rafael encampment on Saturday, police announced. Leslieli Violani Ilolahia, 31, was taken into custody a few blocks from the crime scene just after 6 p.m. on Sunday. According to the San Ra fael Police Department, Ilolahia admitted to detectives that she stabbed the victim, identified on Monday by the Marin County Coroner's Office as Alexis Ione Hines. The deadly stabbing occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday at a homeless encampment in the area of Anderson Drive between Lindaro and Irwin streets. Hines was pronounced deceased at the scene.
